ASUS launches three graphics cards in their lineup of Radeon HD 7950.
The first graphic card is the ASUS HD7950 3GD5. This Radeon HD 7950 card comes with reference features from AMD, reference clock speed, reference cooler, and other. This card features 800 MHz core clock with 1250 MHz memory clock. Of course this ASUS HD7950-3GD5 comes with standard cost that referenced by AMD, about $449.
The second graphic card is the ASUS HD7950 DirectCU II 3GD5. This card also comes with Radeon HD 7950 chipset and has same features as its little brother, the ASUS HD7950-3GD5. It has same clock speed that refer to AMD standard, 800 MHz core clock with 1250 MHz memory clock. The differences is, this card using DirectCU II models. This card using advanced cooler that designed by ASUS, known as DirectCU II. This design implemented by ASUS at their premium graphic cards lineup, as example in the big brother of Radeon HD 7950, the ASUS HD 7970 DirectCU II.
This ASUS HD7950 DirectCU II 3GD5 based on Radeon HD 7950, would cost $15-20 higher than the reference.
The third graphic card is the ASUS HD7950 DirectCU II TOP 3GD5. This Radeon HD 7950 card comes with pre-overclocked from factory, of course it have higher clock speed than AMD reference. ASUS sets 900 MHz core clock with 1250 MHz memory clock. For the design, ASUS implements DirectCU II TOP that have more effective cooling than DirectCU II.
The price of this premium ASUS HD7950 DirectCU II TOP 3GD5 that provide stunning and advanced features is close to $490. About $40 higher than reference cost in this Radeon HD 7950 lineup.
